Diva A unique,,one of a kind movie! Both Frdric Andri and Roland Bertin has earned overwhelmingly positive reviews and is considered by many to be one of the best films of the year! Maybe that's what makes the movie so good.The great cast includes Frdric Andri, Roland Bertin, Richard Bohringer, Grard Darmon, Chantal Deruaz. The movie moves on like a dream and end leaving you wanting for more.
If you love watching Frdric Andri or Roland Bertin, you are deffinetly going to want to watch Diva.
Modern noir meets high opera in the French suspense flick Diva. Delivery boy Jules has an opera obsession. He spends his small disposable income on sophisticated sound equipment and manages to bootleg a live performance of his favorite diva, Cynthia Hawkins (played by real-life opera singer Wilhelmina Wiggins Fernandez). But Jules is spotted making the recording by shady investors who want the tape. As if that weren't enough, a second cassette, filled with enough evidence to topple an international drug and prostitution ring, makes its way into Jules's mailbag. Writer-director Jean-Jacques Beineix does a terrific job of adapting Delacorta's pulpy novel for the screen, keeping all the excitement while adding a layer of depth. A movie to make even a dedicated opera hater appreciate a perfectly sung aria, Diva has enormous loft apartments, thugs galore, gorgeous visuals, and a corker of a chase scene. Summary of Catch-22:
Joseph Heller's novel was one of the seminal literary events of the 1960s, but Mike Nichols's film ultimately proved too literal in its attempt to bring Heller's fragmented fiction to the screen. Still, Nichols, who made this on the heels of The Graduate, seemed the ideal candidate to tackle this Buck Henry adaptation. The story deals with bomber pilot Yossarian (Alan Arkin), who has flown enough missions to get out of World War II but can't because the number of missions needed for discharge keeps getting raised. The satire and absurdity of Heller's book get lost in Nichols's effort to give screen time to the members of his all-star cast, which includes Orson Welles, Jon Voight, Bob Newhart, Anthony Perkins, Richard Benjamin, and Martin Sheen, among others. --Marshall Fine

I really loved the movie Catch-22. I really enjoyed watching Alan Arkin in this movie. I also think Martin Balsam was great!
I think Alan Arkin and Martin Balsam worked wonderful in Catch-22. The great supporting cast includes Alan Arkin, Martin Balsam, Richard Benjamin, Art Garfunkel, Jack Gilford.
